Details:
Max is a 2 1/2 year old abyssinian. He is grey and white with green eyes. He is fixed, updated on vaccines, declawed in the front and is a smaller cat weighing about 11 pounds. Max needs an owner who has experience in caring for cats.
My husband and I adopted Max as a kitten and we fell in love with him. We have realized over the last few weeks that we need to find an new home for him. We just had our first baby who seems to be allergic to Max. We are also moving soon and cannot afford the monthly pet-rent and fees our new apartment will charge for him. We are devastated to give him away.
A little about him... Max has many behaviors of a dog. He waits at the window for us to come home, then cries at the door until it is opened. He loves to be held, pet and kissed. I dont think Max is capable of being angry. He has never bit anyone in anger, only when my husband play wrestles with him. He is amazing with children. He is used to his tail being pulled and little kids carrying him around like a ragdoll. He is NOT you typical cat who hides at loud noises or runs away when company comes. He loves everyone and actually watches the loud military planes fly overhead. He loves to play and chase his toys. Max is very active, yet seems to be able to curl up in anyones lap and sleep the day away. We love Max so much and would like to see him go to a family kids are a plus where he can get the attention we cannot give with our newborn here.
